CSI Star Gary Dourdan Charged With Drug Possession

Palm Springs, CA (CNS) - Actor Gary Dourdan was formally charged with felony drug possession Wednesday.

The "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" star was charged with three felonies for possession of heroin, cocaine, and ecstasy, stemming from his April 28 arrest in Palm Springs. His arraignment is scheduled on May 28.

Riverside County District Attorney rep Michael Jeandron says in a statement, "If convicted, Dourdan faces a probation term and could be required to complete a drug treatment program. If he completes it, the charges will be dismissed."

Dourdan, 41, was arrested in the early morning hours on April 28 after police found him asleep in his car, which was parked on the wrong side of the road. Upon searching his vehicle, they found the drugs.
