A New Tell-All Book Claims O.J. Confessed To Killing His Wife

Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - A new book claims O.J. Simpson had indeed killed his ex-wife Nicole Brown, and even confessed to the crime.

Simpson's former sports agent Mike Gilbert alleges in his book "How I Helped O.J. Get Away with Murder," he had assisted the retired football player during his trial to get away from murder.

He says he had advised him to take arthritis medicine that would help his hands swell so they wouldn't fit the infamous leather gloves linked to the killing of Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.

Gilbert says that after he was acquitted, Simpson had confessed the truth to him while he was high on marijuana.

A quote from the book reveals Brown was killed with a knife while she opened the door to Simpson. "If she hadn't opened that door with a knife in her hand... she'd still be alive."

Gilbert also wrote that there was no doubt in his mind after "O.J. had confessed to me."

However, Simpson's lawyer Yale Galanter dismissed the book saying the author is "a delusional drug addict who needs money. He's fallen on very hard times. He is in trouble with the IRS."
