Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - A memorial service for Michael Jackson will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 7th.
No other details have been released about the memorial service, which was reported by CNN. A rep for the Staples Center says the event is not officially confirmed and they could not comment.
Jackson was rehearsing at the 20,000 seat Staples Center for his "This Is It" tour which was supposed to begin July 16th at London's 02 Arena for 50 sold out shows through 2010.
The Staples Center is owned by AEG Live, the company who has promoting Jackson's production.
