Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Hilary Duff is hard at work with one of her favorite charities, Blessings in a Backpack, which provides the children of lesser income families backpacks with weekend nourishment. Now to support Blessings in a Backpack, Hilary Duff is calling her fans.
Through the website celebritiescallyou.com, fans can send themselves or other friends personalized messages from Hilary Duff, including birthday, anniversary, holiday wishes, and more. Duff pre-recorded hundreds of names for the personalized greeting, which can be sent as a phone call or eCard.
The phone call costs $3.99, with all of the proceeds from her calls benefitting Blessings in a Backpack. Duff has supported the charity program for years, helping to donate millions of meals to underprivileged children all over the country.
Along with her ongoing charity work, Duff is currently starring on episodes of the CW's "Gossip Girl," and in 2010 will release the drama "According to Greta" and the ABC Family movie "The Business of Falling in Love."
