Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Former beauty queen Carrie Prejean and Miss California USA organization have settled the lawsuits they fired against each other. The two former warring parties settled their differences outside the court after months of publicly bashing each other.
Prejean, 22, sued the pageant organization, including co-directors Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, for libel, religious discrimination, and unauthorized release of private medical records - referring to her breast augmentation surgery.
The pageant countersued and demanded payment for the $5,200 loan they gave Prejean for her breast implants.
Terms of their agreement were not disclosed, but the pageant stated that they have dropped their claims and wish each other the best.
Miss California USA organization is now looking forward to the upcoming pageant on November 22.
