Chicago, IL (AHN) - Jake Fox drew a bases-loaded walk in the 10th inning, scoring Ryan Theriot with the game-winning run as the Chicago Cubs edged the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 Friday.
Closer Kevin Gregg got the win, tossing two innings of one-hit ball to improve to 3-2 on the season.
A bulk of the credit goes to Carlos Zambrano, who threw seven innings of five-hit, one-run ball.
The only run he allowed came off a Corey Hart bases-loaded walk in the fourth.
Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan didn't deserve to lose either, and didn't, getting a no-decision with seven innings of four-hit, one-run ball.
He allowed just a Zambrano RBI single in the fifth that scored Fox.
Mark DeFelice took the loss, falling to 4-1 due to his control problems that included two other walks in the 10th.
The Cubs got back over .500 at 39-38, while the Brewers fell to 42-38.
