Cleveland, OH (AHN) - The Cleveland Indians clubbed the Oakland A's 15 different ways, with that number of hits and runs Friday in a 15-3 win.
Shin-Soo Choo pounded a pair of home runs, and had seven RBI in all to lead the way.
Choo had an RBI single in the third, two-run double in the fourth, three-run homer in the fifth and a solo shot in the seventh to cap a marvelous night.
He has 12 homers and 53 RBI on the season and raised his batting average to .301.
Ben Francisco had three hits and scored four runs, Asdrubal Cabrera had two hits and drove in three and Travis Hafner homered in the onslaught.
Trevor Cahill (5-7) took the loss, allowing six hits and eight runs over 3 2-3 innings.
Five A's relievers provided little relief, yielding nine hits and seven runs the rest of the way.
David Huff (4-3) got the win with six frames of eight-hit, three-run ball and three relievers followed up with scoreless work in the seven-through-nine innings.
The A's collected 11 hits, including five doubles, but was just 3-for-17 with runners in scoring position.
