It Is expected that Shanahan will sit down with team owner Ralph Wilson and/or GM Russ Brandon sometime next week, and talk about picking up the Bills program.
While nothing has been settled on yet, the Bills have fingered Shanahan as a person of interest, though other names do appear on a short list they've brainstormed.
Other people reportedly getting a look at will be Jim Haslett, and New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride.
Haslett has a lengthy history with the Bills, having played linebacker for them from 1979 to 1985. He is currently cutting his teeth with the Florida Tuskers, one of the teams of the UFL.
The Tuskers have hit the turf running, going 5-0 in the new league.
At present, defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is handling the head coach duties for the Bills on an interim basis,
