Five Members Of Houston, Texas Family Found Dead At Home

Linda Young - AHN Editor

Houston, TX (AHN) - Houston, Texas authorities think financial problems were behind the deaths of a family of five found dead in their home after authorities believe the man shot his wife, their three children and then himself late Saturday afternoon.

According to KPRC Local 2 TV reports, investigators say police found the body of the father on a porch with a rifle nearby. The bodies of his wife and their 8-year-old son were found inside an addition to the porch and the bodies of the two younger children, a boy and a girl, were found on a different addition of the porch.

Authorities believe the family died sometime on Friday. The names of the victims have not been released.

The father was an immigrant construction worker from Central America. Neighbors reportedly said the man was a good father to his children.
