Police Investigating Bomb Threat at P-O Junior High

PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg State Police are currently investigating a bomb threat found between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Philipsburg-Osceola Junior High School.

According to the police report, the threat about the school being “blown up” was written on the wall in the second floor boy’s bathroom. As a result, school officials evacuated the building, and students were released to parents at the Moshannon Valley YMCA.

The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 342-3370.
