Delisle Sentenced to State Prison

CLEARFIELD - The man behind the wheel in a truck rampage incident last summer at Gambler's Raceway Park was sentenced to state prison on Tuesday.

Delisle used his truck to ram a fire department vehicle while there were passengers inside after the firefighters asked to be paid.

After a jury trial in January Richard Delisle of Clearfield was found guilty of Delisle was found guilty of five counts of simple assault, seven counts of recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, injure or tamper with fire apparatus, and disorderly conduct. He was found not guilty of criminal attempt to commit criminal homicide and multiple counts of aggravated assault.

The Honroable Paul E. Cherry sentenced Delisle to eight months to four years in state prison, and calling Delisle's acts reprehensible, according to Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr.
