Clearfield County Democrats Meeting

CLEARFIELD - The organizing work group from the Clearfield County Democratic Committee will meet May 13 at 7 p.m. at the IBEW #5 Training Facility at 1400 Leonard Street in Clearfield. The building is located in the complex behind the Multi Service Center next to Mountain Laurel Nursing Home.

Any Democrat interested in volunteering or becoming involved with the committee is invited to attend. Items for discussion include voter registration outreach for the general election, recruiting additional volunteers to work polling locations, and effective communication strategies.

Sue Lemmo, meeting organizer stated, “Clearfield County has a long history of active Democratic volunteers and we are seeking to build upon that strong base to reach out to people who may have wanted to get involved in the past but did not know how to go about it. In addition, we would like to welcome those who were energized by the recent Pennsylvania primary to become more politically involved.”.
