Clearfield Borough, Others May be Facing Litigation from PennDOT

CLEARFELD – Clearfield Borough, Continental Construction and Glen O. Hawbaker’s may be facing legal action from PennDOT regarding paving along Park Avenue.

That announcement was made at last night’s Clearfield Borough Council committees meeting. Borough Solicitor F. Cortez “Chip” Bell III said the area in question is near Saterlee’s.

The area was paved by the borough as part of the sanitary sewer project.

The borough will take samples of the area to see if there is any liability on the borough’s part.
