Fatal Accident Claims Reynoldsville Man's Life

DUBOIS - The Sandy Township Police Department reported a fatal accident that occurred at the intersection of Central Christian Road and Wayne Road on Monday.

According to police Roger Heffner Jr., 28, was traveling south on Central Christian Road and failed to stop at a stop sign at the T-intersection of Wayne Road, causing his vehicle to strike an embankment. Police stated that he died as a direct result of the injuries sustained in the accident.
Police also stated that Heffner was the only occupant in the vehicle.
