July 2nd, 2008 Farm Bureau Kicks Off Membership Drive
CLEARFIELD - Clearfield County Farm Bureau will kick off their 2009 countywide new member drive in July, according to the organization’s President Ralph McClarren from West Decatur. Membership in the Clearfield County Farm Bureau is currently at 177 family members, with a 2009 goal of 180 total members. Farmers, currently not members, may join in July, 2008 and for the same rate of annual dues, receive benefits through December, 2009.
“During our membership drive, volunteers of the Clearfield County Farm Bureau will be reaching out to the farm and rural community to relate the many benefits of being a Farm Bureau member. Our organization is an effective voice for farm and rural concerns. Our members also get savings on many group purchased services”, said Membership Chair Dan McAninch of DuBois.
McClarren said that information about Farm Bureau is available by contacting Dan McAninch at 814-371-5812, or by visiting PA Farm Bureau’s Web site.
