Fifth Annual AFL-CIO Working Families Trap Shoot Nearing

KERSEY - The Clearfield, Elk, Cameron, and Jefferson Central Labor Council will be sponsoring the Fifth Annual Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Working Families Regional Trap Shoot on Saturday, July 27 at the Fox Township Sportsman’s Club in Kersey. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m.

The Regional event is a qualifying shoot for the Statewide Finals to be held on Saturday, September 13 at the Bay City Gun Club in Waterford, Erie County.

The cost is $35 per person including lunch. Non-shooters can purchase a meal ticket for $8. Pre-registered squads of five can save $5 per person. Juniors age 15 and under accompanied by a responsible adult who has instructed them in safety can shoot for $15. High Gun and the top three in each of 9 classes will qualify for the state finals. Our goals for the day are to promote solidarity among sportsmen and to raise money for the PA AFL-CIO Cope Committee.

Any individual, organization, or business wishing to become a sponsor will be recognized at the Trap Shoot.

For more information please contact, Jeffrey A. Miller, President Clearfield, Elk, Cameron, and Jefferson Central Labor Council at 814-762-8426.
