Children's Charitable Organization Triples the Smiles

FAIRFIELD, CT - Brady's Smile, Inc. will soon be "doing big things for little ones in need" in Pennsylvania and will provide triple the smiles.

In September, the Connecticut-based charitable organization will expand its children's-based Intensive Care Unit programs into more hospitals.

According to a press release issued by the organization, new partnerships have been formed between Brady's Smile and the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as well as with the DuBois Regional Medical Center.

“Since founding Brady's Smile less than five months ago, it has been our primary goal to help make life in the newborn and pediatric intensive care units easier for children and their families. The addition of these two new partnerships will compliment their existing programs at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital and help touch the lives of more children in need,” said Co-Owners, Matt and Annie Hinton.

The couple is establishing their Brady's Smile comfort bags, blankets and music programs in the Newborn, Pediatric and Cardiac intensive care units at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

“They’re consistently named to several elite lists of pediatric health care facilities and have more than 50 beds combined in the intensive care units,” the couple stated.

Matt and Annie also stated the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at the DuBois Regional Medical Center will benefit from the Brady's Smile Comfort Bags program.

Brady's Smile has also announced the creation of "Meals by Matt and Annie," a new program that will be established in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. The program will provide monthly home-cooked dinners that will be shared by the families of newborns and children staying in the unit.

“Their newborn intensive care unit has been an essential part of central Pennsylvania for over 30 years and is well-respected in the state,” the couple said.

Matt and Annie said they’ve been encouraged by loyal supporters that has resulted in the overwhelming success of these programs at the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital.

“It’s led to Brady's Smile expansion into these additional hospitals. We’re thrilled with the progress,” they said.

To continue that success, the couple said they have organized the organization’s first fundraiser – “Color the Night” in order to raise more funds to support their programs.

Matt and Annie said the event will be held from 5 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Lawrence Township Fire Hall, in Clearfield.

Tickets for the event are set at $25 per person, $45 per couple or $160 for a table of eight. The admission cost includes “unlimited” food and beverages during the event.

Auctions, games and prizes will also be available for an additional fee at the event.

Tickets will not be available on the day of the event and must be purchased by Sept. 20.

“All proceeds raised at this event will benefit these programs at the three hospitals,” the couple said.
