DUBOIS - The DuBois Area High School Band, under the direction of Joe Sensor, announces its annual Autumn in the Air Marching Band Show to be held at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, October 11 at E.J. Mansell Stadium on Liberty Boulevard.

Participating bands include groups from several area high schools, including St. Marys Area, Homer-Center, Oil City, Tyrone and Huntingdon. Eleven groups in all will be participating in both competitive and non-competitive categories, the largest show DuBois has hosted in recent years. The show will conclude with a special exhibition by the DuBois Area High School Marching Band followed by the Kidnetix twirlers.

The show is sanctioned by Tournament of Bands. Tournament of Bands is committed to inspire participants to achieve higher musical and visual standards. TOB ascribes to the concept that artistic, aesthetic and creative standards must be joined with positive inspiration, recognition and dignity for all its participants. Performance opportunities must promote and assist in the educational development of its students to achieve their greatest potential.
