Philipsburg Main Street Announces Holiday Plans

PHILIPSBURG - The Philipsburg Main Street Program announces the schedule for this weekend’s holiday events.

On Dec. 6 the Moshannon Valley YMCA Paint N Play Classes will be performing “Miracle On Front Street” in the Moshannon Building Parking Lot, downtown, beginning at 12:15 p.m.

The Christmas parade begins at 1:00 p.m. starting at Centre and Spruce Streets and continuing downtown, ending at the Trinity United Methodist Church parking lot. After the parade, A “Picture with Santa” will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church. Children will receive a treat and a free 5x7 photo of themselves with Santa.

Saturday’s events are being sponsored by JJ Powell. And finally, the finishing touches to a fabulous weekend will be hearing Valley Voices performing at the Rowland Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3:00 p.m.
