PSP Troop G Announces Break-Up of Meth Lab

UNIONVILLE – The Pennsylvania State Police Troop G Vice and Narcotics Unit announced the break-up of an active methamphetamine lab in Union Township, Centre County.

According to police they received a report of suspicious activity in and around a wooded area just outside the Borough of Unionville. As a result two members of Troop G responded and observed what was determined to be an active clandestine meth lab.

Following an investigation on Thursday charges were filed against 35-year-old Ronald Lee Williams of Searcy, AR.

Williams was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Williams was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Dan Hoffman and released on $25,000 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 17 at the Centre County Courthouse.
