Wilcox Woman Faces Arson Charges

WILCOX – After a fire marshal investigation, a 41-year-old Wilcox woman will face charges for allegedly setting the fire that resulted in an estimated $4,000 in damages to a Chevy Blazer at the East Branch Lake Recreation Area on Feb. 13 in Jay Township, Elk County, the Ridgway State Police reported.

Christine M. Abrahamson, 41 of Wilcox, has been charged with arson, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct. Police reported that she was taken into custody and arraigned in front of District Judge George A. King.

Police said that she was, then, incarcerated in the Elk County Prison in lieu of $25,000 cash bond.
