On May 11, 19 local men volunteered as controllers and score keepers for the 13th annual On the Fly PA Flyfishers Tournament at the Wayne Harpster farm along Spruce Creek. The annual event is one of the major fund raisers for the Centre County Youth Services Bureau.
The YSB programs include individual, family and group counseling, parent education, Big Brothers Big Sisters services, emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth, transitional living, and drug and alcohol education/intervention.
