DuBois City to Borrow $814,000 for Bridge Repairs

DUBOIS - In order to repair two bridges, the DuBois City Council plans to borrow $814,000. The interest rate will be limited to 1.68 percent for the loan.

On Monday night, the council authorized funds for the demolition and reconstruction of both the Weber and Washington Avenue bridges.

The new bridges have an expected useful life of 40 years.
