Black Moshannon Shooting Death Under Investigation

UNION TOWNSHIP - A shooting death that occurred Saturday on the Black Moshannon State Game Lands is under investigation.

According to state police in Philipsburg, their barracks and the Centre County Coroner's Office are investigating the shooting death of 21-year-old Port Matilda resident Rachel Lynn Perryman. Police said their initial investigation has revealed that Perryman and another person were hunting at Black Moshannon when she was shot.

The invesitgation is ongoing and additional information will be released as the investigaiton progresses.
