Police Investigating Coalport Robbery

COALPORT – State police in Clearfield reported a robbery that occurred at a Coalport business early Tuesday morning.

According to police a man went to the Coalport Minute Mart at 12:40 a.m. There were no other customers in the store and the man handed the cashier a note demanding money. Police said no weapons were displayed and no threats were made to the cashier. The man then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as being white, non-Hispanic, about 25-years-old, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black ski mask and black hood, burgundy sweatshirt with a white logo on the back and possibly the word “O’Neil” on the sleeve, blue jeans and gloves.
