Wining for Adoption Thanks

CLEARFIELD - Kenn Starr, right, of Starr Hill Winery recently presented a check to Clearfield County SPCA Executive Director Pam Smith, center, along with Shari and Brigadier Trythall of Waggin' Trains pet supply store in Clearfield. The funds were from a special promotion during August at the winery following the wine tasting party at Waggin' Trains, "Wining" For Adoption, in July to raise money to purchase digital photo frames to showcase adoptable SPCA pets. A total of $864 was raised and, to date, hosting the photo frames are Waggin' Trains, Curwensville Feed Store, Herring Veterinary Service and Susquehanna Veterinary Clinic, both of Clearfield, and Wiscoy Pet Supply in State College. Siegel Engraving donated plaques for each frame listing the SPCA phone number. More frames will be purchased as hosts can be found.
