Police Seek Public's Help in Theft Investigation

PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg-based State Police seek the public’s help in finding those responsible for an Oct. 8 – 9 theft that occurred at the Reliance Fire Hall parking lot.

According to the media release, police said the victim – a contracting company – reported a person(s) had forcibly entered their locked construction trailer that was parked at the aforementioned location. They indicated numerous, commercial grade tools were removed from the trailer.

Police indicated that the tools are valued at approximately $3,500.

Police stated that the public is urged to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370 with any information related to the incident.
