(GantDaily Graphic)

DuBois - A man wanted for fleeing from a traffic stop on Interstate 80 yesterday is still on the loose.

As of 7:30 a.m. Friday, there has been no sign of the suspect.

On Thursday the DuBois-based state police announced a warning of a possible fugitive from justice near I-80 in the vicinity of the Reynoldsville Rest Area.

This morning a subject fled on foot from a traffic stop at the west bound rest area.  He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

The subject is a 36-year-old white male with short blonde hair.  He is said to be 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds wearing a tan, Carhart type jacket.

Police have issued a warning to motorists and area residents not to pick up any hitch-hikers or stop for any subjects.  Residents are warned to be cautious, watch property and contact PSP DuBois with any suspicious activity at 814-371-4652.
