DECATUR TOWNSHIP – A Decatur Township fire that destroyed a Philipsburg man’s one story, wood-framed garage at 6:06 p.m. Saturday at Martins Road has been ruled “undetermined,” the Clearfield-based State Police reported.

According to the report, the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit investigated the origin and cause of the fire. They determined that the fire resulted in an estimated $10,000 worth of damage. They stated that the structure was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Police said they were assisted at the scene by members of the Houtzdale Volunteer Fire Department.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police Fire Marshal at 814-938-0510.
