Athlete of the Week -- 11/27 - 12/3

The Gant Daily Athlete of the Week for Nov. 27 through Dec. 3 is Clearfield Lady Bison Elizabeth Sopic.

Sopic led the Lady Bisons to their first Blast-Off Tournament Championship. She was named the tourney MVP as she had 12 points and 17 rebounds in the 63-52 finals win over Hanover. That was on top of her 10 point, 12 rebound opening round game against BEA.

Earning honorable mention for the week are former Clearfield wrestling state champions Brad Pataky and Matt kyler.

Competing at the Nittany Lion Open, Pataky went 4-1 on the day to place third at 125 pounds.

Kyler went 6-1 on the day to get fifth place at 133.
