Charleston, WV (AHN) - Voting for West Virginia's presidential primary ended at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday after a clear, sunny day that saw a steady stream of voters heading to the polls.
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has been projected to easily win against Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), based on major exit polling.
The former first lady did well among senior voters; 72% of them supported Clinton while 63% of voters younger than 24 chose Obama, according to CNN exit polls. FOX exit polling also found that 78% of all West Virginia Democrats believe Clinton should stay in the race.
