Temple at DRMC

DUBOIS– A fantastic opportunity may be coming to the area. Temple University’s master’s degree in social work may be available in Clearfield County.

An open informational session for interested students and the public will be held with Temple staff from 3-7:30 p.m. on Dec. 8, at DuBois Regional Medical Center’s Central Resource Center, the former school building, 100 Hospital Ave., DuBois.

Stop by anytime during this time for information on the part-time program, course sequences, admission standards and tuition costs. Individual questions will be answered, as well.

This program is being offered in response to requests from area residents, according to Jennie Shaffer, adult educator with DRMC’s Organizational Development. If there is enough interest, classes will begin in fall 2009 and will be taught locally by Temple University Harrisburg campus instructors.

RSVPs are not required for the informational session, but they are appreciated. Call Temple at 1-866-769-1860.
